VIVIN’s Fleur de Sel is selected from a small farm in the region of Phetchaburi, Thailand. The salt flat farm is owned by a Thai family that has been in the business of hand-harvesting salt for over 40 years.
Fleur de Sel is developed under very specific moderation and timed conditions that require a precise level of saltiness in the water, sunny weather and dry wind.
Fleur de Sel is delicately collected by scraping the crystallized salt on the surface before it sinks to the bottom. The flavour is deliciously crisp and without the predominant iodine aftertaste that can sometimes occur in regular sea salts.
Using Fleur de Sel will enhance the flavour in every dish. Use it for cooking or to dress salads, in cooked meat, fish, vegetables, pasta… even chocolate.
