This cake is best suited for the adult palette as children and young adults may find it not sweet enough, especially if they're unfamiliar with what a RV cake is supposed to taste like. I was thoroughly pleased. The cake was firm but spongy and a bit on the dense side, and the cream cheese frosting was just the right flavor without being sickeningly oversweet. It's best to let the cake (or slices) come to room temperature before serving them or else the cake won't be as spongy as it should be.
Not sure about the little pink hearts sprinkled over the top - did the bakery have leftover valentine's day decorations?
